Stern and stiff, Clio watches the events of history unfold and waits to record them. Not one to meddle in the progress of history itself, she is content to understand why things transpired and who triumphed. Similarly, her clerics gravitate to events of significance, such as battles or treaties. These historian clergy gather copies of these and scrutinize them for their great books. Each works on a tome to understand a single event, such as a battle or rule of a single individual. Considered dry reading, most care little for the minutia of detail available in these tomes, but they are labors of love for the Scribe of the Gods. Clio takes the form of a lady at rest, her feet upon a net holding a peasant farmer and a crowned noble, as reminder of the march of time that claims all regardless of station.
