After the Cosmomachy, Thesmaphora taught mortals how to plant crops and when to harvest. Though sorrowful that her daughter Eleusinia was taken as a wife by Thantadeus by force, she performs her duty to maintain homes and families. When a chill enters the air too early, hymns of condolence are offered to lift her spirit and return warmth and seasonal weather. Her priests and priestesses wear orange and green with oak branches and acorns. She prefers modest sacrifices and warm, homey temples where the offerings feed widows and orphans. A small order of paladins known as the Spherewalkers patrol the edges of agricultural fields and land holdings to protect isolated farmers from monsters and bandits. Small statuettes of her holding a sheaf of wheat can be found on the tables of almost every home, and warriors far from home worried for their families carry acorns tied with messages, knowing a Spherewalker will seek out its recipient should their body be left behind. Thesmaphora is depicted as a softly smiling woman in early middle age with tan skin from working the fields and long, black hair.
